Carrick Swan GAA Club's Páirc na nEalaí
Carrick Swan GAA Club is delighted to have received planning permission from Tipperary County Council for a 260 seat covered stand, this will again be another very expensive project to complete and will require considerable ongoing fundraising.
Once all the various tests and designs are considered, the Swan Club hopes to be able to commence the installation sometime this year.
This latest addition to the already wonderful facilities at Pairc na nEalaí will copper fasten the ground as among the best GAA club facilities in the country.
"We will of course keep our members and supporters up to date on the developments as they happen," said a Swan Club spokesman.
Club Hall
The club hall recently underwent a complete refurbishment with over €30,000 spent on it to date.
First the lighting was changed to environmentally friendly LED lighting.
The hall was fully painted including the toilets and store room.
And the floor has been brought up to the highest standard to allow for indoor sports such as badminton, basketball and indoor hurling/football to be played while not forgetting the loyal bingo players who now enjoy greater comfort thanks to an enhanced heating system.
This project is proof if it were ever needed that Carrick Swan are not standing still but all the time improving their facilities. This could not be done without the fundraisers and sponsors and the Swan Club thanks all who support this project.
