Una Healy is hoping to get "back to fitness" as she vlogged her 5k run on Tuesday to her almost 700,000 followers on Instagram.

The musician and former The Saturdays star from Thurles spoke candidly in her videos on how her fitness level right now is "shocking" and how she wants to get back to a regular fitness regime.

During the video, Una said: "Well, I don't know about you all, but my fitness is absolutely shocking, at the end of the summer.

"The kids are back to school, so I made a start to do my first 5k, in a long time, I got to 1.3km, and I had to pull up with a stitch.

"So back on the fitness buzz now, will walk for a bit and try run the rest of it, and get back to doing my regular 5ks again...with no driving involved, obviously."

A new video then starts with the Tipp beauty saying: "Nope. Had to pull up with a stitch again. Ah God, it's terrible to be unfit.

"Now, I've been going to the gym here and there, but not consistently, so anyway, it's a marathon not a race - it's a 5k not a race.

"But hopefully, I'll be back to fitness again...watch this space, maybe I shouldn't have had lunch before I came out...eejit."
