Holycross is set to kick off the festive season in style as The Village Market hosts the first of its Christmas markets on Saturday 29 November.
Families are invited to bring their children along to write their Santa letters and post them in Santa’s special letterbox, which will be on site for the day. Each child will receive a personalised Good List certificate, adding an extra touch of Christmas magic to the occasion.
Visitors can enjoy hot chocolate, teas, coffees, sweet treats, and a tempting range of homemade baked goods. The market will also showcase an array of crafts and Irish handmade items created by talented local traders—an ideal opportunity to pick up unique, locally made gifts in time for Christmas.

A raffle in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind will take place during the event, with music adding to the festive atmosphere.
