Tipperary gardaí urge car owners to be alert following thefts from a number of vehicles

The gardaí in Tipperary are urging car owners to be vigilant following a number of thefts from vehicles over recent weeks.

According to Sgt Declan O'Carroll from Nenagh Garda Station, one person was remanded in custody following a garda probe and officers were seeking to locate the owners of property they believe was stolen from cars.

On Sunday last a person contacted Nenagh Garda Station in relation to a theft from his car.

Gardaí later arrested a suspect who was charged with theft.

Several items of property were recovered and an individual is facing charges in relation to the incidents.
