Tipperary Town Daffodil Day raised €19,500

A West Tipperary Daffodil Day event raised just shy of €20,000 for the Irish Cancer Society.

The Daffodil Day collections in Tipperary Town raised €19,500 for the work of the Irish Cancer Society on their annual national fundraising drive, which took place on March 28.

Collections could be seen in shops across Tipperary Town, including at Tipperary Town Shopping Centre, Bennett's SuperValu, and Tesco.

The Tipperary Town event was led by Greta English and Kathleen Dalton, who are thanking everyone for their support on the day.

Money raised as part of the Daffodil Day drive goes directly to the Irish Cancer Society, and helps to fund vital services for those with cancer such as cancer research, qualified cancer care nurses and information and counselling for those living with cancer.
