A County Councillor in Tipperary has warned the public to be careful driving in areas of the county, due to sightings of deer on Tipperary's roads.
Independent Cllr Liam Browne said "A constituent reached out this morning with a very real concern: deer are being spotted daily along roads from Clune to Dundrum, Tipperary, Coolanga, Priest Road, and Clonoulty.
"Some are quite large, and they’re appearing at all hours, especially in the mornings.

"This time of year, deer are more active and unpredictable, and with the speed of traffic on these roads, it’s sadly an accident waiting to happen.
"If you're driving through wooded or rural areas, please slow down and stay alert.
"We’re looking into signage for high-risk areas, but in the meantime, your caution can save lives — both human and animal.

"If you’ve seen deer in other locations or have concerns, feel free to comment below or message me directly.
"Let’s keep our roads safe together."
There have also been sightings of deer on the road between Goatenbridge and Clogheen, where warning signs are in place to alert motorists already.
