Tipperary Town is preparing to celebrate St Patrick’s Day in style with this year’s parade set to take place at 2:30 PM on March 17, subject to road closures.
Following a successful organizing meeting, Independent councillor John O’Heney confirmed that this year’s parade will embrace the theme: “The Parade of Champions”, celebrating the outstanding achievements of local individuals, schools, clubs, and organisations over the past year.
The next planning meeting is scheduled for next Thursday night at 7:30 PM in Roche’s Pub, Tipperary, where community members are invited to volunteer as stewards or assist with parade preparations.

Anyone wishing to enter floats or groups in the parade is encouraged to contact the organizers via stpatricksdaytipptown@gmail.com
Cllr O’Heney expressed enthusiasm for the event, noting that it is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate local accomplishments while enjoying Ireland’s national holiday.
