Councillor coming from funeral in Tipperary issues stark warning to drivers as snow falls

A councillor coming from a funeral in Tipperary issued a stark warning to drivers in Tipperary on Saturday night as snow fell.
Cllr John O'Heney said: "I'm coming from a funeral in Clonoulty and the roads are absolutely lethal around Ballagh, Dundrum, Doneskeigh, Tipperary Town and out towards Lattin & Emly.
"Very heavy snowfall and poor visibility all over West Tipp. Avoid travelling if you at all."
Met Éireann has issued a Status Orange snow and ice warning for Tipperary until 5pm Sunday.
