Due to the forecasted snow/ice event across Tipperary Saturday and Sunday, Tipperary County Council expects driving conditions to be very difficult across the county and across our entire road network.
In a statement, the local authority said: "The difficult driving conditions will include roads and routes salted under our winter salting programme.
"The effectiveness of this road salting in the weather condition forecasted in the coming 36 hours may be significantly reduced and motorists should consider all roads as if they are unsalted and drive at an appropriate speed to match the conditions."
A Status Orange snow and ice warning remains in place in Tipperary until 5pm on Sunday evening.
