Vicky Maher starring in Bridget
The final screening of Bridget will take place in the auditorium of the Horse & Jockey Hotel at 8.15 on Friday February 28.
This short film made by the Fionn McCumhaill Players, and set in 1895, tells the story of the unfortunate Bridget Cleary of Ballyvadlea, who was killed by her husband in the belief that she was a changeling, or a witch.
The film has sold out ten screenings in various locations in Tipperary and Kilkenny in the past number of weeks.

This Horse &Jockey event will be the last local screening as the film has been invited to participate in international film festivals which will commence shortly.
A question and answer session will take place at the end of the film, and this has proved very popular with audiences.
Tickets are available online from gr8events, and are priced ten euro.
