Sunday March 25th will see our GAA Easter Tea Party in the Hall Golden from 3pm. All the hostesses have now been selected but all are welcome to turn up on the day and you will be allocated to a table. There will be a prize for the best Easter bonnet on the day which has been kindly sponsored by Sizzars Hair salon Cashel. It promises to be a great afternoon.

Dancing in The Premier Ballroom Thurles on this Easter Sunday night the 1st of April to ‘TWICE SHY’. Dancing is from 8.30pm to 11.30pm and admission is €9.

Calling all hippo expert enthusiasts! ‘Dr. Zeiffal and Dr. Zeigal and The Hippo That Can Never Be Caught’ invites the audience to help the forgetful Dr. Zeiffal catch the crafty Hippo with her patented Hippo Instruments: the Invisible Hippo Blanket, the Hippo Google Goggles and a blizzard of Hippo packaging. Expect belly laughs, belly flops, surreal slapstick and fantastical falling over in this interactive family comedy created by Mouths of Lions.
Bring your hippo catchers and your hippo google goggles, because Dr. Zeiffal has most likely lost hers. At the Source Arts Centre Thurles on Wednesday 04 April at 12pm. Tickets €7/25 family of four.

Duet For One
In this powerful and moving play Stephanie Abrahams (Ciara O'Sullivan), a brilliant concert violinist who has it all, is forced to re-evaluate her life when struck down by an unforeseen tragedy. Faced with a truth too difficult to comprehend she consults psychiatrist Dr Feldmann (Kevin Walshe) and through a series of highly charged encounters is led to examine her deepest emotions and finally to consider a future without music. Through the course of their encounters in his consulting room, Dr Feldmann delicately probes away at Stephanie's brittle coating of resilience, to expose the truth about her background, her marriage and her self-esteem. At Nenagh Arts Centre on Friday 13th April and Saturday 14th April at 8pm. Tickets €15/€12 (plus €1 Booking Fee)

The Chamber Philharmonic Europe which was founded in Cologne in 2006 visits Thurles on Saturday 7 April at 8pm. Tickets €15/ €8
