Niall Cahill paid tribute to the winning Thurles CBS Harty cup team and also remembered Dillon Quirke who was corner back the last time the school won the cup before this year.
Thurles beat St Flannan's in a dogged, dour game this Saturday at Mallow to bring much joy as they claimed the title. The game ten years ago, when Thurles last won the title, was also played at the same venue.
For the 2025 final Niall Cahill wore Dillon Quirke's 2015 jersey to draw inspiration as he tells Stephen Gleeson here in the video - have a watch of it here...
