Great fun was had in Ballylooby on St Patrick's Day

The cold and wet weather did not stop the people of Ballylooby and surrounding areas come together to celebrate St. Patricks Day with a Parade. With a stage, several food stands and a gazebo set up everyone waited for the arrival of the parade to the village.
Gerry Duffy was MC on the day.

Cahir Comhaltas entertained everyone on the stage with the usual mixture of traditional Irish music and dancing and the rain was ignored.
Ballylooby Community Council did a fantastic job and fair play to each and every one involved. Roll on next year.
