Over 40 new homes will be delivered shortly in one town in Tipperary.
44 homes in Coopers Gate in Cashel will soon be available to social housing applicants, according to Fine Gael councillor and Cathaoirleach of Tipperary County Council Declan Burgess.
The 44 new homes have been delivered in conjunction with Respond Housing Association.
Three and four-bedroom properties in the development will soon go live on Tipperary County Council's Choice Based Letting (CBL) system.

Cllr Burgess said that he had made separate consultations to the council about the road surface in the area, which has deteriorated since the building work has been ongoing.
