People in Tipperary Town have been advised to keep their doors locked

Locals in this Tipperary town have been reminded to make sure their doors are locked after a frightening incident over the weekend.

People in Tipperary Town have been given the warning after a man was seen trying to open doors in the St Michael's Avenue area of the town on Saturday night.

At around 3am on Saturday night, a man was seen attempting to open doors of houses in the area, with a warning being issued on social media to make people aware and to remind them to make sure their doors are locked.

In response to the original post on social media, a number of people recommended installing a video doorbell camera to record any movement outside people's homes and to give an added sense of security.
