Shifted to the half-forward line with the spare body dropped back, the 19-year-old left his best game in a Tipperary jersey so far, for the biggest occasion of all.
There were questions around whether or not he would hit the frees, but he hit nine frees and scored them all, while also launching over four points from play, and bagging a nerveless penalty that put Tipperary into the ascendancy after Eoin Downey's red card.
He answered any questions about his character with this display. Incredible stuff from the Toomevara man.
