Tipp fans celebrate a score at Croke Park during their second half comeback against Cork

A celebration of Tipperary's great All Ireland Hurling Championship win.

Rainbow over Tipp
There was a Blue and Gold rainbow over Tipp,
As the team, they made the trip,
To the town where the story did begin.
To Semple Stadium in Thurles,
Where they welcomed home their hurlers,
Liam Cahill's men, who proudly stood their ground.
And with them "Liam MacCarthy",
Their special guest at this great party,
To celebrate the brilliant Blue and Gold.
Their win the stuff of legend,
Each player often mentioned,
As for many years their story will be told.
So with voice and hearts united,
Tipp celebrate and delight in
This mighty team that wear the glorious
Blue and Gold.
Tom O'Sullivan.
