Poets and writers are invited to read their work or the work of other scribes at this month's Poetry Plus open-mic session at Carrick-on-Suir's Brewery Lane Theatre.
The event takes place in the theatre's tearoom tomorrow (Friday, October 27) at 8pm.
"I'm looking forward to hosting our October Poetry Plus open mic in the tearoom of Brewery Lane Theatre," said organiser Margaret O'Brien, who is a writer and creative writing teacher.
"Bring a poem or two if you plan to read, and prepare to be in good company whether you read or not. "Those of you who are regulars know the drill, and newcomers are always made very welcome," she added.
