Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott have been doing the rounds lately promoting their new movie All of us Strangers, and if you've seen these two interact, on and off the screen, you know you're in for a treat.

In the latest of these unintentionally hilarious clips for the Late Late Show, the two actors are recreating some of their most famous lines that their on screen characters have said and the other has to guess who said it.

Mescal starts by reading the line "In a world of locked rooms, the man who holds they key is King, and Honey you should see me in a crown", Scott responds straight away saying it is of course supervillain James Moriarty who he played for seven years in critically acclaimed Sherlock starring Benedict Cumberbatch.

Scott then holds his laugh in as he reads Mescal his line "That's it, grab that globe", to which Mescal quickly says "Ah, Stop!".

The line was of course referring to Mescals break out role in the now famous ad for Denny sausages, in which a younger Mescal takes a trip to Ballyhaunis.

"Can we delete that ad from the history of the world please", Mescal says adding that the ad has gotten "mighty mileage" before Scott interjects saying "That's because of your gift to the world", and he couldn't be more right.
