At the ceremony, Adam was awarded a prestigious €15,000 bursary and granted two remarkable performance opportunities. One of these included a collaboration with the esteemed National Symphony Orchestra, and the other a performance at the renowned Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris.

The panel of judges overseeing the event consisted of distinguished personalities from the music industry. Notable figures such as international concert pianist Finghin Collins, Pauline Ashwood from the Irish National Opera, Cathy Stokes from the National Symphony Orchestra, Richard Yarr from BBC NI, and Ursula Gormley from the Feis Ceoil Association’s Executive Committee, were among those present.

Adam's remarkable talent and dedication were duly recognised by the panel, earning him the top spot in this prestigious competition. We extend our warmest congratulations to Adam, as well as to the runner-up, Ben Gannon, and all the other finalists who showcased their exceptional abilities.

Adam Buttimer's achievement stands as a testament to the exceptional calibre of talent nurtured at Rockwell College and the Rockwell Music Academy. As a community, we take immense pride in his success and eagerly anticipate the continued brilliance that he is destined to bring to the world of music.
