Cahir Meals on Wheels is a cherished community lifeline delivering hot meals, kindness, and connection to those who need it most and right now the group needs new volunteers.
The Tipperary Volunteer Centre is helping to recruit passionate individuals for two key volunteer roles with Cahir Meals on Wheels.
They are looking for a committee secretary and board committee members to continue do their great work.

Time commitment for the committee secretary would be 1 hour/week. Tasks include attending monthly meetings, preparing and distributing meeting notices, collecting agenda submissions, taking and sharing minutes and helping to arrange meetings.
Time commitment for the committee member role is 1 hour/week. Responsibilities include supporting the strategic direction of the organisation, acting as a trusted advisor to the board and coordinator, ensuring good governance and compliance and championing the value of volunteering in the community.
No prior experience is required, just a commitment to community, care, and collaboration. If you’re ready to lend your time, we’d love to hear from you at the Tipperary Volunteer Centre.
