The Daughters of Dún Iascaigh (supported by Cahir Social and Historical Society) hosted Dr. Aislinn O’Keeffe for her lecture ‘The Witch: Early Modern Period to the 21st Century’ in the wonderfully atmospheric Great Hall of Cahir Castle last Friday, October 24.
Dr. Aislinn was in Cahir before when she gave another lecture about ‘Women, Witchcraft and Trials in Europe’.

Last Friday all seats the Great Hall was at full capacity and it turned out to be a very interesting lecture with much information, lots of amazing facts and macabre information on a very apt topic and so close to Halloween too!
Dr. Aislinn was very accommodating and answered many questions Q&A in the after the lecture too. The evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

The Daughters of Dún Iascaigh & Cahir Social and Historical Society are very grateful to Dr. Aislinn O’Keeffe for taking the time to visit Cahir again, also everyone that attended as well as the OPW along with Cahir Castle Staff for accommodating them.
