Financial boost for Tipperary school in campaign to fund all-weather facility

Last week in Cahir a cheque was presented to the Coláiste Dun Iascaigh all-weather running track funds from proceeds of the recent Quid games fundraiser.

The Quid Games featured a number of Tipp players and supporters and between them they raised €100k for Tipperary GAA and over €100k for the charities involved.

The planned all-weather running track, floodlit walking path, along with padel courts, long jump and high jump facilities will be a huge benefit to the Coláiste and will be open to the public for out-of-hours use.

This will make Coláiste Dun Iascaigh a top educational facility and complement the work of those who had the vision to develop the facilities in the area over the years.
