Santa ensures Carrick-on-Suir's Christmas lights are shining brightly

Carrick-on-Suir town centre is shining bright thanks to the Christmas lights Santa Claus turned on when he visited Main Street last Saturday with members of Carrick-on-Suir River Rescue on board one of their rescue boats.

The town’s Christmas lights are paid for by Carrick-on-Suir Business Association members with assistance from Carrick-on-Suir Municipal District.

COSBA thanks Santa, Carrick River Rescue, Eoin Fitzgerald Electrical, Fergus Power and Carrick-on-Suir Brass Band which performed at the switching on of the lights ceremony.
