Over 100 juvenile members from Carrick-on-Suir GAA club took part in town's St Patrick's Day Parade

Carrick Swan GAA Club's Premier Intermediates were narrowly beaten by a point by Upperchurch in the County League.

Camogie

The Under 16 camogie team started their league campaign last Saturday when they played St Mary's in Clonmel. It was an enjoyable game with St Mary's winning in the end with a score of 4-4 to 1-4.

Training resumed for more than Under 8, Under 10 and Under 12 camogie players last week.

The club's youngest members – the Cygnets - trained on the astro-turf pitch last week. There was a a brilliant turn out of 53 kids at training, which was great to see. New members are always welcome. Training takes place on Wednesday at 6 - 6.45pm on the astro-turf in Páirc na nEalaí.

Under 17 hurlers start their County League next Sunday with a home game against Burgess at 3pm in Páirc na nEalaí.

The Under 15A footballers defeated Mullinahone on The Green in Carrick. They play their next game away against Moyle Rovers on March 27.

Under 13B footballers enjoyed a good win against Clerihan. They play their next game on Wednesday at 7pm against Ballylooby in Páirc na nEalaí.

The Under 13D footballers were beaten by Killenaule and play Mullinahone next Sunday at 9.30am on The Green.

St Patrick's Day Parade

Over 100 young members of Carrick Swan Club marched in the parade on Sunday. It was a brilliant turn out. A special thanks to all the parents and coaches for all their help.

Condolences

All at Carrick Swan Club extend condolences to the Allsopp/Doyle family of Marian Avenue on the passing of their loved one.
