Carrick-on-Suir CRITICAL Community First Responders hosted a Restart a Heart Day demonstrating CPR and offering blood pressures checks to the public.

Adam Hunt of Carrick CFR paid tribute to all the volunteers who took part in the cardiac health awareness event outside SuperValu in Carrick on Saturday, October 18.

“Your dedication truly makes a difference. We’re also so grateful to everyone who stopped by to say hello, take part in CPR demos, and offer such generous donations. Your support helps us keep our community heart safe."

There are 16 fully trained CFR volunteers on the team that covers the Carrick area and up to a 10km radius of the town. The team has responded to over 200 calls this year.
