Smudge, a black and white terrier that had been reported missing since November 21, has been reunited with his family.
Posting on Facebook, Smudge's owner shared a message saying "A miracle! HIS HOME!!!"

Another user on Facebook shared an update, saying: "You have probably already seen from Smudges owners post that gorgeous Smudge is now HOME.
"Despite numerous searches in area where he was found there was no sign but after spotting him last night a gentlemen managed to safely get hold of darling Smudge this evening and he is now at home enjoying the many cuddles that have been waiting for him.
"Much needed sleep will be had by all tonight!!!
"We would like to thank you ALL for your cares & shares & an extra thank you to Daryl.
"Smudge- We all send you lots of woof cuddles and love to you , your mummy & daddy.

Smudge's owner also shared an update on his current condition, saying: "Just back from vets. Extreme infection in his ear. 10 day course of anti biotics and painkillers and cleaning twice a day in hopes they don't have to cut away the infection."
