Carrick-on-Suir Library Knitting Group has issued an appeal for donations of unwanted wool to assist its members with projects the group is involved in with the Alzheimer Society of Ireland for premature babies, the local dialysis unit and hospice.
The group's members for example knits lap blankets and fidget blankets for people living with dementia.
They would gratefully put any unwanted wool people may have to good use within the community.
