A lucky school had a visit from Tipperary hurling heroes Eoghan Connolly and Oisín O'Donoghue, who were both past pupils of the school!
Staff and pupils were delighted to welcome Eoghan and Oisín to St John the Baptist BNS in Cashel on Monday, September 15 with the Liam McCarthy Cup.
Mrs Andrews and Mr Ryan were very capable MCs on the day.

Eoghan and Oisín answered lots of questions from the boys and girls. They spoke with great appreciation for their parents and families, and their message was clear — work hard to achieve whatever you want.
Eoghan shared how it had been his dream to return to the school with the Liam MacCarthy Cup.
"This week, himself and Oisín achieved that dream, and we hope there will be many more occasions when they return to our school with silverware!," said the school.
