These safety works should give motorists a better line of sight and reaction time when using the junction
After a year-long process, new safety works have been completed in Kilfeacle, specifically at the junction for Bansha, on the main Tipperary to Cashel Road.
Independent Councillor for the Tipperary-Cahir-Cashel Municipal District John O'Heney welcomed the news this week, and thanked the local landowners for agreeing to the works taking place, without whom it would have been very difficult to proceed.

He also thanked all the stakeholders involved for engaging with him on this important road safety issue over the past year, especially the excellent District Engineering Team and local Council Contractors for all their hard work behind the scenes in order to get these much needed safety improvements completed.
Cllr O'Heney labelled it a "fantastic job" and added that when the Telephone polls are also removed in a few weeks time it will give an even better line of sight to all motorists using this very busy junction.
