A talk on the folk magic of Piseógs in old Ireland will be the fascinating subject of a talk at Cashel Library next week.
Piseógs were the most common form of curse used in old Ireland, a Piseóg being a superstitious belief or practice, charm or spell.
The talk titled, Folk Magic of Piseógs, takes place in the Library at 2.30pm on Thursday, October 30.
The event is for adults and is free to attend but you must book your place by calling (062) 63825.
