RIP: Tributes paid to late Tipperary woman who 'always had a smile'

The death has occurred of Deirdre Kennedy of Connor’s Close, Cashel, Co Tipperary.

Deirdre passed peacefully on February 21, at Tipperary University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Denis Kennedy.

Deirdre is deeply regretted by her loving mother Joanie, family Siobhán, Máire, Donnchadh, Gráinne, Seán, Mick, Caroline, Marcella, Jack, Mike, Darragh, Gary and Grace, uncles, aunts, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Deirdre lay in repose at Devitt’s Funeral Home on Monday evening.

Requiem Mass took place on Tuesday in St John the Baptist Church, Cashel.

The mass was followed by burial in Cormac’s Cemetery.

Tributes have been paid to Deirdre online, with one person saying: “To Joanie Máire Siobhan Grainne Donnacha and Sean and all the O' Connor Family, my sincere condolence on Deirdres passing. Always a lovely person, May heaven be her bed.”

Another said: “Deepest sympathy to Joanne and all the Kennedy family on the sad passing of Deirdre a lovely lady always had a smile and chat when I met her over the years RIP Deirdre.”
