Following a very successful Christmas Market on the Plaza in Clonmel, students from the four secondary schools presented a cheque of €1562.07 to Kieran Stafford of St Vincent de Paul.
COMMUNITY
Not only did the students organise a wonderful event for the local community, the Christmas Market along with live entertainment, but they also thought of simultaneously collecting much needed funds for a very worthwhile cause.
GRATEFUL
Mr. Stafford said everybody involved in St Vincent de Paul greatly appreciated the gesture of the students.
“We, at St Vincent de Paul, are so grateful for the lovely gesture and we are amazed at the huge sum of money that these young people managed to raise.
PROUD
“The town of Clonmel is to be very proud of its young students, who made such a difference to a local organisation, whilst also creating a wonderful, festive entrepreneurial Christmas Market,” he said.
