Council to close street in Clonmel for two weeks next month due to water mains works

Albert Street will be temporarily closed for two weeks in April

Tipperary County Council has made an order to temporarily close the L-7619 Albert Street in the Irishtown area of Clonmel for two weeks in April to facilitate the repair and replacement of water mains and reinstatement of the carriageway and footways. 

The Council has issued a notice outlining that Albert Street will be closed from the junction of O'Neill Street to the junction of Gravel Walk from 8am on Monday, April 14 to 6pm on Monday, April 28. 

Eastbound traffic on Albert Street will divert south via Gravel Walk and East onto Irishtown to the bottom of O'Neill Street. 

Southbound traffic on O'Neill Street continues onto the junction with Irishtown turning west on Irishtown, turning north onto Gravel Walk and onto the junction with Albert Street.
