A Tipperary hotel has paid tribute to one of their staff members, saying that they are "grateful" for all that they do when working there.

The Talbot Hotel in Clonmel has shone a light on one of their leisure centre attendants, Eoghan Walsh.

Eoghan started working at the local hotel two years ago when he started college, and is still working there to this day.

The sporty local man says that when he isn't working at the hotel, he's playing for St. Mary’s and Clonmel Commercials, as well as watching a lot of sports too, like soccer, F1 and darts.

Eoghan spends his days at work greeting customers and looking after the gym and pool area, saying that he loves having chats with the customers.

This summer, Eoghan plans to head to America to see some of the world.

In a post on social media, the Clonmel hotel said that they are "grateful" to Eoghan and are looking forward to having him back after his travels.
