Corpus Christi procession will take place in Tipperary's largest town

The procession will be held to celebrate the Jubilee Year of Hope in the Catholic Church

To celebrate the Jubilee Year of Hope, a Corpus Christi procession will take place in Clonmel on Thursday, June 19.

The procession will begin at 5pm at St Mary’s Church, Irishtown and will proceed to Ss Peter and Paul’s, concluding with Benediction.

In the Catholic Church, 2025 is a Jubilee Year, also known as a Holy Year, which is celebrated every 25 years.

The theme for this year is 'Pilgrims of Hope'.

This Jubilee is intended to be a time of spiritual renewal and a call for signs of hope for the world, especially amidst global challenges.
