Celebrating its twentieth anniversary, Culture Night returns on Friday September 19,inviting the public to enjoy culture, creativity, and the arts throughout Tipperary .
This nationwide event, made possible through the continued support of the Arts Council and Local Authorities across Ireland, offers free access to an exciting range of creative and cultural events and activities late into the evening.

Over 40 events are presented by imaginative and dedicated artists, cultural organisations, community groups and volunteers from all corners of Tipperary. From theatre to music, visual arts, poetry, film, artistic workshops, guided tours and live performances, there is plenty to explore and something for all ages.
Among the events planned is a Poetry Den in Clonmel.
All ages are welcome to the STAC Chapel in Kickham Plaza from 5pm onwards on Culture Night to enjoy The Poetry Den, created by Jenny Cox.

Designed as a comfortable, living room-type setting with couches, armchairs, coffee tables and soft lighting, the Poetry Den welcomes you in to read, discuss, share and even create some poetry of your own.
The Poetry Den also includes music by Purple Roses at 6:40pm and a 20 min Open Mic starting at 7pm.
