Uisce Éireann is working to restore normal water to almost 500 homes and businesses in Clonmel following an electrical issue which resulted in an interruption to supply at the Monroe Water Treatment Plant.

Customers in Fethard Road, Boherduff, The Paddocks, Willow Cl, The Wilderness, Northfields, Fairfields, Rathronan, Clonmel and the surrounding areas may experience an interruption to supply as a result.

It is estimated that supply will be restored by midday today.
