Family carers in Tipperary deserve action from the Government on the Budget promises

The manager of the Family Carers Ireland branch in Clonmel has called on the Government to deliver on promises to Irish carers in today's budget.
Cllr Richie Molloy said family carers deserved much more than praise, they deserved action.
"As we look ahead to the Budget, we call on the Government to finally deliver on its promises to Irish carers. That means abolishing the means test for the Carer’s Allowance, expanding access to respite services, and ensuring real financial and emotional support for those who give so much. Carers deserve more than praise, they deserve action," said Cllr Molloy.
