Tipperary's Ciara O'Neill yesterday was honoured for her recent 2nd place finish in the Irish Universities Athletics Association Cross Country Championships in Tymon Park, Dublin.

Numerous members of the MTU Executive presented Ciara with the Silver Medal along with Lucy Holmes also in MTU who placed 1st on the day.

MTU had never won any medal at these championships, and they say to get two on the one day was remarkable.
