The big switch on took place outside the company’s offices on New Quay and Anglesea Street.
Around 75 pupils from the Presentation Primary School Choir, accompanied by their teachers and families, filled the street with carols and seasonal cheer.

The children performed a beautifull programme of Christmas favourites, enriched by violin, tin whistles and festive bells.
The highlight came when three pupils joined David Anchell, CEO of Camida, and Clodagh Phelan, Marketing Manager, to illuminate the trees at the front of the Camida offices, sparking applause from a delighted crowd.

Adding to the occasion, Fire and Feast served hot festive food alongside handmade mince pies, cookies and hot chocolates for the choir, their families and the Camida team.

“This event captures the spirit of our community, coming together to celebrate, support our local school and share a little festive magic,” said David Anchell.
“We’re immensely proud to host the choir and to see so many families enjoy the evening with us.”

Clodagh Phelan added: “We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the pupils and their teachers. We know how much time and practice goes into preparing a performance like this. Their dedication made the evening truly special, and we are so grateful for the fun and excitement they brought to our doorstep.”

Camida also expressed sincere thanks to Tipperary County Council for supporting safety measures and facilitating a road closure for the duration of the event.
