A popular Tipperary café was forced to shut its doors last month after a HSE inspection found "multiple" rodent droppings in close proximity to foodstuffs and container which presented a risk of contamination.
Bodega Cafe @ Inspire located at Unit 12M, Ard Gaoithe Business Park, Cashel Road, Clonmel, county Tipperary, was ordered to close immediately following the inspection on November 12, 2025.

The inspector from the HSE stated that the closure order was issued as there is "likely to be a grave or immediate danger to public health at, in or on the said premises".

The closure order was issued to Bodega @ Inspire on November 12, 2025, and was subsequently lifted on November 14, 2025.
