It may take longer for normal supply to be restored to all customers particularly those at the end of the network or on higher ground, as the reservoirs refill and network recharges.
Uisce Éireann’s Anthony Phelan, said: “Uisce Éireann acknowledges the disruption that can be caused by an unplanned outage, and we wish to thank customers in the area for their patience while works were underway. We would ask customers in the impacted areas to be mindful that it will take several hours for the reservoirs to fully replenish and for the network to refill.”
