Gaelscoil Chluain Meala recently launched its exciting new Read and Raise fundraising campaign at Clonmel Library, marking the beginning of a wonderful community effort to promote literacy while supporting the school’s growing resources.
Running until next Friday, March 6, the Read and Raise initiative encourages pupils to develop their reading habits and improve literacy levels, while also raising much-needed funds for the Gaelscoil’s graded reading library and the purchase of iPads and laptops for students.
The campaign perfectly reflects the school’s strong commitment to nurturing a love of reading in a modern, well-resourced learning environment.
The launch in the local library was particularly fitting, as every pupil in Gaelscoil Chluain Meala is a proud member of the library.

The school community has been truly blown away by the generosity and encouragement shown so far. Sincere thanks are extended to local businesses, parents, grandparents, family members and friends, whose support continues to make a real difference, as well as to the wonderful local library for hosting the launch and championing literacy in the community.
The wonderful parents council have also shown great leadership in spearheading the campaign.
