CREDIT: Tipperary gardaí
Clare Tipperary Roads Policing Unit conducting a speed enforcement checkpoint on the M8 motorway detected a vehicle travelling at 163km/h.
The driver was the holder of a learner permit and was driving unaccompanied and the insurance policy showed as inactive on the Mobility App.
The vehicle was seized and proceedings commenced against the driver.
