Reposing at O’ Dwyer’s Funeral Home, Upperchurch on Friday evening from 5pm with removal at 7pm to St. Mary's Church, Drombane. Noreen Coleman
(née Heavey)

Noreen Coleman, née Heavey, St. Ailbe Terrace, Bohernanave, Thurles and formerly Innisfallen Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. Peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family. In the wonderful care of the staff of Tipperary University Hospital. Predeceased by her husband John, brother Dominic, infant brother Bernard , sisters Anne (O'Shaughnessy) and Maureen (Turvey). Deeply regretted by her loving family; son Thomas, daughter Maureen (Ryan), son in law Pake, grandchildren Dominic and his wife Rebecca, Sarah and her husband Raj, Amber and her partner Damien and their mother Frances, Aisling and her partner Michael, great-grandchildren Tahmid, Muhammad, Abdullah, Sóley, Savannah, Kayla and Dan, sisters Patsy (Hayes), Gretta (Kennard) and Mena (Leen), nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law Bob and Frank, sister-in-law Kathleen, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Saturday 16th August from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Church of St. Joseph and Brigid, Bothar na Naomh, Thurles on Sunday 17th August at 9am for Requiem Mass at 9.30am. Burial afterwards in Holycross Abbey cemetery.

John Corcoran

The death has occurred of John Corcoran, Knockinclash, Ballypatrick, Clonmel, Co Tipperary.

 

John (in his 100th year), passed away peacefully in the care of the staff of Medical 2 & Palliative Care Unit of Waterford University Hospital on Wednesday evening in the presence of his loving family. He is pre-deceased by his wife Breda, brothers Michael, David and Fr Will and sister Mary (Power). After a long and healthy life he will be sadly missed by his loving sons Denis (and his wife Margaret), Liam, daughter Kathleen (and her husband Brian), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Condons Funeral Parlour, Clonmel on Friday evening from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11.00am in St Mary’s Church, Gambonsfield, Kilsheelan followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Those who cannot attend can watch live via the Kilsheelan Kilcash Parish Facebook page. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to the National Council for the Blind.

August 13th 2025, peacefully in the loving care of all the Staff at Croí Óir, Our Lady’s Hospital, Cashel. Tommy, beloved husband of the late Celia. Sadly missed by his loving family Helen, Thomas, Andrew, Margaret, Jennifer and Sarah, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Mary and Betty, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

(née TEEFY)

Catherine Ryan (nee Teefy) Ballinlough, Toomevara and formerly Gortybrigane, Birdhill, peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the excellent care of the staff of the University Hospital Limerick. Predeceased by her parents Nora and Patrick and her sister Margaret. Catherine will be greatly missed and remembered by her loving husband Matt, daughters Una and Nora and their partners Anthony Burke and Cian Burke. Her sisters Breeda Kirby (Monaleen) and Mary O Meara (Caherelly), brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Ryans Funeral Home, Nenagh this Saturday (E45 KN93) from 5 o'c to 7 o'c. Her remains will arrive at St.Joseph's Church, Toomevara on Sunday for her Requiem mass at 1 o'c. Followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining Graveyard.

Fr. Patrick Ryan (Lacken)

The death has occurred of Fr Patrick Ryan (Lacken) S.J., New York, on August 10th 2025, (peacefully in the care of the Jesuit Community).

He is predeceased by his parents Paddy and Anna Ryan (Lacken), sister Mary and brother in law Liam O ‘Reilly.

Deeply regretted by his nephew Edmund O’ Reilly, his first cousins Patk Treacey and John Kennedy U.S.A. , Biddy Hannon, Limerick, Séamus Ryan Lacken, Birdhill, and Máiréad Lloyd, Moyne, many cousins, friends and the Jesuit community.
Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday August 16th at 10 a.m (US time), 3pm (Irish time) in University Church, Fordham, New York.

Formerly of ‘Mount Marian’, Shanballa, Cashel, Co. Tipperary, August 13th 2025, peacefully at Tipperary University Hospital. Breda, beloved daughter of the late Larry and Biddy and adored niece of the late Sadie. Sadly missed by her brothers T.J., Jerry, Larry and Canice, sisters Pauline and Majella, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, friends and the Staff and Residents of the Brothers of Charity, St. Patrick’s Gardens.
