Died October 30th peacefully surrounded by his loving family and in the tender and exceptional care of the staff at

Nenagh Hospital. Predeceased by his brothers Paddy & John, sisters Elizabeth & Mary.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Pat, sons Patrick and his partner Jude Anne, Adrian and his wife Edel, daughter Paula, his adored grandchildren Louise and Rían, sister Helen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing on Monday 3rd November from 4pm- 7pm in Sullivans Funeral Home Main Street Borrisokane.

Removal on Tuesday morning to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer Redwood arriving at 11:15am for Mass at 11:30 am burial immediately afterwards in Bonoham Cemetery.

Peacefully at home in the loving care of her family. Ann, deeply regretted by her family Liam, Jean, Patrick, Sandra and Aideen and their father Patrick, sons-in-law David, Paul and Selami, daughters-in-law Bernie and Edel, adored grandchildren Áine, Liam, Colm, Cian, Reece, Lee, Ariana, Rion, Ora, Dean, Lilia and Scott, great-grandson Myles, brothers Jerry and Larry, sister Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Devitt’s Funeral Home this Friday evening from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday in St. John the Baptist Church, Cashel at 12.00noon and can be viewed on https://churchcamlive.ie/cashel-parish-stream/ followed by Burial in the adjoining Cemetery. Patricia Lea (nėe Stapleton) Liverpool, formerly of Brittas, Thurles and Cappanavile, Upperchurch who passed away on 18th September. Predeceased by her husband Derek, parents Patrick and Catherine Stapleton and her infant brother Matthew. Sadly, missed by her sister Una, brothers Dermot and Matty, sisters-in-law Kathleen and Rita, nieces Noelette, Elaine, Marie, Patricia, Una and Antoinette, nephews Padraig, Conor, Chanel and Matthew, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, neighbours and friends.

Joan Lyons (née Guerin),

Glantane, Co. Cork and formerly of Templemore, Co. Tipperary, who passed away very peacefully on October 30th 2025 at the Four Ferns Nursing Home, Foxrock, Co. Dublin.

Beloved wife of the late Paddy (Retd. Garda Sergeant), mother and best friend of Aileen, Clare, Deirdre and Tara.

 

Predeceased by her brother Flannan.

 

Sadly missed by her loving daughters, brothers Michael and P.K., sister Ann (McKevitt), sons-in-law Diarmuid, Cian, Micheal and Joe; her adored 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Lying in repose at O'Connell's Funeral Home, St. James' Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61) on Friday (October 31st) from 5.30pm with Prayers at 7pm.

 

Reception into St. John's Church, Glantane on Saturday (November 1st) for Requiem Mass at 1pm.

Funeral afterwards to the local Cemetery.

Elizabeth (Betty) Murphy
(née O'Connell)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth (Betty) Murphy (née O'Connell), late of Wood Green, London, and formerly of Duncummin, Emly, Co. Tipperary, who passed away peacefully on 22nd October, 2025, in the wonderful care of the North Middlesex Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

 

A caring loving mum to Mary, Ann & Stella. Sadly, missed by her loving family, her sons-in-law Ciarán, Martin & Alan, nine grandchildren affectionately known as her little heroes, great grandchildren, brother Martin, nieces & nephews and all who knew her.

 

Predeceased by John Murphy (senior), sons Martin and John, brothers Tom & Donal, sisters Maisie, Ann, Babs & Breda. We take comfort in knowing that she is reunited once again with her sons, John and Martin. Our Mum's strength will always be a guiding light in our lives.

Patrick (Paddy) Ryan

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Ryan (Young Jack), Woodville Terrace, Clonmel and formerly Drombane, Thurles, Co Tipperary. Paddy, deeply loved husband of Margaret, passed away peacefully in the excellent care of the staff of Tír na nÓg, Cashel Residential Older Persons Services on Thursday morning surrounded by his loving family, after a long illness, bravely borne. He is pre-deceased by his parents Bridie and Jack, siblings Maudie, Conor, Nuala, Peggy, Sean, Mick and granddaughter Cara. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Margaret, daughters Siobhán (Power), Nuala (Fraher), Mariam and Frankie (Fitzpatrick), sons Sean, Conor and Patrick, sons-in-law Pat, Terry, Seamus and Paul, daughters-in-law Corrina, Tracy and Nadine. He will be sorely missed by his adored grandchildren Gavin, Shane, Eoin, Zoë, David, Stephen, Ciara, Tommy, Conor Óg, Eve, Colin, Orla, Kym, Abi, Mia, Jake, Fiadh, Tadhg and Ailbhe and great grandchildren Rían and Oisín, his brothers Frank and Dinny, sister Breda (Purcell), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Condons Funeral Parlour, Clonmel on Sunday evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Monday to Ss. Peter & Paul’s Church. Funeral Mass on arrival at 1.00pm. Burial will take place afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tom Walsh Jessfield, Ballingarry, Thurles, Co. Tipperary October 30th 2025. Peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St Lukes Hospital, kilkenny. Surrounded by his loving family. Pre-deceased by his loving parents William and Josephine, sister Josie, nephews Fr Colm (O' Brien), John and David (Finnane). Deeply regretted by his loving sisters Lilly (Byrne), Eleanor (Finnane), nephew Ronan, nieces Lisa and Maria, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

 

Tom will be fondly remembered by many.

Requiem Mass in The Church Of The Assumption, Ballingarry (E41X523) on Saturday November 1st at 11:30am followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

 

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to all those who cared for Tom throughout his illness and to those who have given such wonderful care and shown us such kindness at this time especially the staff in St Luke's Hospital Kilkenny. It is much appreciated.​​​​​​
