John (Ash) Ahearne

The death has occurred of John (Ash) Ahearne, London and formerly Baron Park, Clonmel, Co.Tipperary. John passed away peacefully on Wednesday 5th November 2025 at Basildon University Hospital, England.

He is predeceased by his loving wife Cathy, brother-in-law Dinny O'Meara, and parents, Jimmy and Mary (Poll) Ahearne. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his son Seamus, daughter Pauline, sisters Chrissie, Eileen and Breda, brother Seamus, sister-in-law Breda, brother-in-law Dave and wider extended family and friends.

Reposing at Fennessy's Funeral Home, Kickham Street, Clonmel (E91 VH64) this Thursday evening from 5 o'clock to 7 o'clock with removal on Friday afternoon to Ss.Peter & Paul's church for Requiem Mass at 1 o'clock followed by interment in St.Patrick's cemetery. Those who would like to leave a message of sympathy may do so in the condolence section below.

Josephine (Josie) Boylan
(née McLeish)

Josephine (Josie) Boylan (nee McLeish), Clonragh and Gloster, Lusmagh, Banagher, Offaly (and formerly of Limerick Road and Grove Street Roscrea, Co. Tipperary) November 28th 2025, following a long illness, in the care of the staff of Rose Lodge Nursing Home, Killucan, Co. Westmeath.

Pre-deceased by her husband Pat, her siblings Mae, Bernadette, Michael and Eugene.


Josie will be sadly missed by her son Kieran, daughter in law Gillian, grandchildren Caytlin, Aaron and Tara, sister Ethel, brother Ger, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

May Josie’s gentle soul rest in peace.

Funeral Mass in St. Cronan’s Church, Roscrea, on Wednesday 3rd December at 12 noon, followed by cremation at Shannon Crematorium Co. Clare.

Madeline (Mary) Brady
(née Morris)

Formerly of Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, Westlands Estate, Wexford and St. John's Community Hospital, Enniscorthy.

Madeline (Mary) passed away peacefully on 1st December in the wonderful and compassionate care of the staff of St. John's Community Hospital, Enniscorthy.

Predeceased by her sisters Kathleen and Lily and brothers Mattie and John.

Dearly loved and sadly missed by her sisters Ann and Margaret, brother Danny and her children Margaret, Kevin, Terry and Michael, her cherished grandchildren Danielle, Veronica, Catherine, Stephen, Karen, Christine, Dean and Adam, her daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, extended family and many close friends.

Reposing at Macken's Funeral Home, Distillery Road, Wexford, Y35 HP29 on Wednesday, 3rd December from 4.00 pm with removal at 6.00 pm to The Church of the Assumption, Bride Street.

Requiem Mass shall be held on Thursday, 4th December, at 12.00 noon followed by burial afterwards in St. Ibar's Cemetery, Crosstown. The death has occurred of Donal K Whelan, Dromineer, Co.Tipperary formerly of Summerhill, Nenagh. On December 1st 2025, peacefully, surrounded by family after a short illness bravely fought.

Sadly missed by her loving Partner Steve Gallagher, son Alex, mother Ann. Sisters Kate, Eileen, AnneMarie & Theresa. Brothers Martin & Padraig. Brother in law, sisters in law. Uncles, Aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours & friends.
