On February, 23rd 2026 in the wonderful care of the staff at Corpus Christi Nursing Home, Mitchelstown, in his 95th year, Patrick (Pat), beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee O’Donnell) and brother of the late Bill, Mick and Kathleen (Sheehan). Pat will be sadly missed and forever loved by his daughters Marie (Hoare), Carmel (Casey), Breda (Kelleher) and Margaret, his step son William O’Donnell, brother John, sister Mary, sister in law Mary, sons in law Noel, Gavin and Noel, grandchildren Emma, Chloe, Mark, Leon, Holly, Kelly, Alex and Sarah, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Ballyporeen Parochial hall on Thursday, February 26th from 5:30pm to 7pm followed by removal to The Church of the Assumption, Ballyporeen. The death has occurred of Michael English, Ardvarna, Oughterard, Co. Galway. Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, 23rd, February 2026.
Predeceased by his parents James and Hannah, brother Jimmy and sister Eileen. Michael will be sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen, his son’s Seamus and Michael and daughter Siobhan, daughters -in-law Brenda and Paula, son-in-law Declan, all his beloved grandchildren Erin, Kate, Emmett, Libby, Grace, Hannah, Isabel, Ben and Lucy, his sister Mary and brother John, nieces, nephews, extended family neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Michael at 11 a.m on arrival to the Church of The Immaculate Conception, Oughterard on Friday 27th February , 2026. Burial afterwards in Kilcummin Cemetery, Oughterard.
