Cuan Aoise Memory Cafe was launched in Fethard and District Daycare Centre on Tuesday September 30 and will be held on the last Tuesday of each month going forward.

The organisers of the day said: "A huge Thank You to everyone who attended. Our special guest was Michael “Mouse” Morris, who brought his Cheltenham Gold Cup and Grand National trophies.

"We were also joined by Cllr Mark Fitzgerald, Leas Chathaoirleach Tipperary County Council, who entertained us with some songs."

Fethard's next Memory Cafe will take place on Tuesday October 28 at 11.30 until 1pm.

Memory Cafes are welcoming spaces which offers support and advice for those living with Dementia, their families, friends and carers. Dementia Advisors and guest speakers will be in attendance.
